B Bublnbrnsuga Guest Feb 26, 2005 #2 Well for me, I actually don't use a 'heat protectant' per se, but when I blowdry, I use mane and tail and 911 leave in liquid. Works for me.

SVT Well-Known Member Feb 26, 2005 #5 I use leave-ins and oils (liking coconut oil right now) on wet hair then air dry or blow dry on cold. I apply more oil as needed while straightening.

pressncurl New Member Feb 26, 2005 #6 I use a leave-in right after I wash that dries on my hair. Then, while I'm pressing, I apply "grease"--now I use Summit's Liv hair dress; I formerly used Optimum's satin creme press.
