? for naturals who do twists with extentions

Do you guys twist while your hair is dry, damp or wet? I'm getting ready to do some tonight and am just curious. I can't decide what to do. I'm leaning toward damp. What do ya'll think? TIA!

I did mine on detangled dry hair...and kept a spray handy for any tangles I missed.
