Do you find that the products the naturals use work perfectly for your hair as well??

Alot of you probably already know that my sister is natural...she's a BHM'er:D....but i find that alot of what she uses on her hair works perfect for my hair...i can't use a majority of the commercial moisturizers like the Relaxed and Natural by Pantene or the ORS Hair Lotion(i used to like it but not anymore:nono:)....they don't do anything for my hair.

I'm finding products that are mostly natural is whats best for my hair even though i do have a chemical in my hair...my sister says its because i'm "half natural":lachen::lachen::lachen:...but that might have some truth to it

So for those of you who are experiencing this same thing....what do you use??

Yes....to me that counts:yep:
Anything ayurvedic, handmade, natural is pretty much what im talkin about....like what natural products are very moisturizing to your hair? What strengthens it?

What do you use to cleanse your texlaxed hair?

I've use products for natural hair while relaxed, texlaxed, and bonelaxed and vice versa. I've found that whether you achieve your texture via chemicals or DNA, if a product works for that texture it'll work for you.

Yeap, I find that since I texturized the natural products works better for my hair, keeping it soft and moisturefull!! I still try to keep my products semi-natural, I say semi because I Love S-curl but sometimes I get sick of using it, I can now use all the Hair Butters, as a natural my hair didn't accept it.

I use baking soda as a shampoo or Elasta QP conditioning shampoo usually natural shampoos don't work, they make myhair feel stripped.

I have quite a few e-friends up in here that are Naturals in the Use 1 Buy 1 Thread, and since I spend alot of my time in that thread, I tend to use alot of Natural based products.:yep:

Some of my Favs are: Hairveda, Qhemet, SheScentit, Karens Body Beautiful, Oyin, Curl Junkie, Mozeke, MYHoneyChild, Jessicurl, Afroveda. So, I've been venturing heavily into Natural based products and they definitely work well.:yep:

I'm texlaxed and use a lot of products that the naturals on this forum use. My regi includes: Co-wash with Skala G3 Ceramides condish daily, Roux porosity control rinse, Giovanni Direct Leave-In, KCCC gel and walk out the door! =) I find that products such as Qhmet Amla and Olive worked wonders as well.

I am not tex-laxed but instead relaxed.

I have seen this a lot lately on the boards and I just find it quite peculiar that there would be distinctions in the products naturals vs. texlaxed vs. relaxed use. I was once natural, now that I've got a relaxer I use some of the same products that I found worked for my hair and still work!

Like suave, i've been a suave junkie for years and still am, even v05. I also use the same deep conditioner I was using while natural. Including the same exact gel, as well as the same oils.

My regime might be slightly different but I see no reason why my products should be when they work just fine.

I use most of the same things being texlaxed as I did when I was bonelaxed, but since I do WNG's more, my hair responds better to water/glycerin based moisturizers than it did when I was relaxed and wore it straight all of the time. I am able to just use rosewater and glycerin on my NG and the length of my hair with no problems.

Not much in my arsenal has changed being texlaxed. I still love HE LTR, EQP Mango Butter, Coconut oil, Redken Butter Treat, and amla oil. I just hardly ever use heat now.

Yes products that naturals use, I use and they work better for my texlaxed hair. I find myself searching natural threads here for tips more than I do relaxed threads.

Now that i have a thread full of fellow texlaxers....muahahahaha...!!!

I want to know how ya'll are doing your wash n go's? I tried one for the first time today and it was a wash n....well...um....maybe....er....not quite. But i was still 'go'.:lachen:

I did it the Dlewis way....i think i need a gel tho....next time i'll try it with ecostyler gel maybe?

My hair likes Ayurvedic products and liquid-y leave-ins but not heavy butters like shea or mixes from Carol's Daughter (But that stuff is good for the feet!).
