I've started trying to get products that are as natural as possible for my locs and scalp ...my friend said that since she stopped using chemical products, her hair has grown twice as fast!

What natural products do you use?
Do you notice any difference?

I'm a HUGE believer in nature and its healing properties so I'd really like to use these products...

I use Jojoba oil, or wild growth hair oil. These products are made out of nature's finest. I do see a difference because my hair is more manageable and it looks healthier. I think the natural stuff are better because they are what our ancestors used before their were all of these chemical made products. As they say natural stuff are the healthiest. I believe that goes for the whole body.

For daily hair manitenance I use Jojoba, olive and coconut oils. I find these oils don't produce the build up I used to get from hair 'grease', and without the build up, my hair has a natural shine without the greasy look.
As for shampoos, I have'nt found anything that is 100% natural. I may try soapwort root, which has natural cleansing properties.

Where do you get wild growth hair oil and how have your results been? I cannot use anything too heavy. Is it?
