Gad Elbaz sings this heartfelt rendition. Don't miss it, it's absolutely beautiful:

The prayer in English translation

May the One who blessed our ancestors --
Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
Matriarchs Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, and Leah --
bless and heal the one who is ill:
________________ son/daughter of ________________ .
May the Holy Blessed One
overflow with compassion upon him/her,
to restore him/her,
to heal him/her,
to strengthen him/her,
to enliven him/her.
The One will send him/her, speedily,
a complete healing --
healing of the soul and healing of the body --
along with all the ill,
among the people of Israel and all humankind,
soon,
speedily,
without delay,
and let us all say: Amen!

If I pray the Shema? Yes, I do, sometimes part of it when I'm driving down the highways and there are crazy people lol.

^^I have the Artscroll Siddur, my father's old Hebrew Union Prayer Book (Reform), the Tanakh from the Jewish Publication Society, Jerusalem Bible, and a catholic New American verson of the christian bible. There is a Hebrewcized Brit Hadasha online. Mechon-Mamre is also online (using the Masoretic translation) of the bible. There are many sources...but I don't use anything particularly messianic christian.

Which one do you have??? What is the Hallelujah scripture??

Tabernacle:
Yes, the Ark, the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the tabernacle...prefigured. The tabernacle in the catholic/orthodox churches now houses the Christ in body and blood, soul, divinity in the eucharist. He's the holy sacrifice.

Have you seen this???

But then...which is the prophecy He has not yet fulfilled? Peace on all the earth...or has that come about in the hearts of man? I dunno....

Israeli Believers (hated, some live underground with their faith...well, in every generation, there is the potential for the messiah, no???). Thing is, what do people see when they read that scripture?

And this:

the Pesh itta
put them together.. apparently some of the letters are blocked.
they are the targums I think the original new testament before the multiple mistranslations

I do believe that Mashiach will return as a War Priest.. and then there will be final resoration in that Yeshua will fulfill the Order of Melchizedeck and Fully function as a Temple/HIgh priest again..

Gad Elbaz...wonderful voice!

something that we messianics use is the Shema

Sh'ma Yis'ra'eil Adonai Eloheinu Adonai echad.
Hear, Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One.
In an undertone:

Barukh sheim k'vod malkhuto l'olam va'ed.
Blessed be the Name of His glorious kingdom for ever and ever.

V'ahav'ta eit Adonai Elohekha b'khol l'vav'kha uv'khol naf'sh'kha uv'khol m'odekha.
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

V'hayu had'varim ha'eileh asher anokhi m'tzav'kha hayom al l'vavekha.
And these words that I command you today shall be in your heart.

V'shinan'tam l'vanekha v'dibar'ta bam
And you shall teach them diligently to your children, and you shall speak of them

b'shiv't'kha b'veitekha uv'lekh't'kha vaderekh uv'shakh'b'kha uv'kumekha
when you sit at home, and when you walk along the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up.

Uk'shar'tam l'ot al yadekha v'hayu l'totafot bein einekha.
And you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.

Ukh'tav'tam al m'zuzot beitekha uvish'arekha.
And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

“To whom can I speak and give warning? Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear. The word of the Lord is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it.” (Jeremiah 6:10)

“Go and tell this people: “‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’ Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.”(Isaiah 6:9-10)
