sorry y'all I thought the word UP made it into the subject line...

It's protective styling I'm referring to!

I don't know If I beleive the balancing act thing IG....I've seen so many long haired women - African American and otherwise with long hair and bangs that I would need more concrete vidual proof to change my mind about that. I have seen it work for one woman - Jennifer Bahney - but that's all....

Wow, I actually look like a troll with my hair down and half way decent with it up. I am thinking your solution might still work for me and will incorporate it. hehehe thanks.

I look like troll with my hair up partly because of my humongous forehead but on the unfortunate side of things, my forehead looked like a war zone underneath my bangs when I had them cause my sensitive face gets mad at me when I have them.
