So... for all my ladies who appreciate Dominican products, let me tell you that there is a whole world of Latin American, moisture rich, conditioners, shampoos, rinses, treatments, etc.; with ingredients indicative of that particular climate or region.
Latin women embrace their hair, culture and individuality. Product lines that come from Latin American countries (DR, Brazil, Panama, etc) tend to be more moisturizing because a) access to more moisturizing resources (warm climate) b) women embrace their textures and c) companies invest in their markets desire to understand and properly take care of their hair.
This site has a lot of great products. A few of my absolute favorites are Maroochi, Leche Cabra and Toque Magico.
Some staples are there as well... Skala, Sedal, Silicon Mix, La Bomba, etc.
