Food tastes NASTY after MSM??!

Has anyone ever experienced this? I just started taking MSM in powder form with my water this morning. I went to pop a couple of almonds about half hour later and its bitter as ALL GET OUT!! I had to spit it out!!erplexed
So I said "well maybe those almonds are old or something" so I went to get an apple. SAME THING! I had to spit it out! it was sooo bitter tasting!. What gives?? Does taking MSM in powder form coat your mouth for a while or something??

nope never happened to me i guess because i make sure drink some juice behind it
