Folks got Benny Hinn mad!!!

You know what they say about a stopped, old-fashioned clock...

:giggle: Okay your right....but I have to agree that there is a spirit of compromise in the house and we do need to be more vocal (not necessarily hostile) about Jesus being the way, the truth, and the life and letting the lost know that no man cometh unto the Father, but by Jesus.

Harsh honesty is cool by me, necessary at times, but dude cracks me up when he's absolutely right.

Compromise is not a strong enough word for what is going on.

Hmm, I think Hinn should not focus on the short-comings of other preachers but of himself in his current situation with his organization and marriage. 7:20 of his video is very telling about his state of mind and demeanor. He's saving face by shoving his in others'. It has nothing to do with Jesus and salvation. He's pointing out a weakness he saw in Osteen as a way to bring himself back to his glorious days. That's just my MHO.

Edit: I say this because I've never seen him that angry before. I respected his ministry and followed it, went to a conference and saw "miraculous" events. But there defin. are some questions about his theology. Nonetheless, this just seems so desperate an attempt. He needs to get in a quiet place and heal. I rather feel sorry for him.

Even though there was truth in many of his comments - I think he should be more concerned about his own personal affairs.

Also - it is not like his theology is on point either, he should not be throwing stones.

I don't know much about his ministry. I know he came up under a faith healer Kathryn Kuhlman? I think. I watch pieces of his broadcast because he can break that word all the way down, but I have never been able to watch him longer than a few minutes at a time for some reason.

Isn't Larry King Jewish? So Jesus is not a part of his faith. Okay and BINNY HINN of all people. Okay really.

People like this really scare me. They are no better than fundamentalist Muslims. This is just a rouse to take the heat off of him and his own personal mess

Well, what is the bigger picture here? Benny Hinn's personal life, etc. has nothing to do with the fact that he is angry a member of the Body of Christ won't stand firm on what the Word says: That Jesus is the ONLY way to God the Father (John 14:6) That Scripture is not a message of condemnation but of truth. Of course God is the judge of who goes to heaven/hell, but that's not what all this bruh-ha is about. It's about Hinn believing that Osteen is not standing up for God before Man - nothing else.

Larry King is a known Atheist, so no one should expect him to do anything but be an Accuser of the Brethren when a preacher appears on his show.

Stand up for Jesus, even if you face persecution, lose friends/family, etc. This is what Binny Hinn is saying in this video. What I see is righteous indignation..and that's my opinion.

Always remember, Our Father uses both the righteous and unrighteous in His plans. Nebuchadnezzar and Sampson are probably the best biblical examples of this fact. When famous folks with questionable teachings get it right, I find it amusing for that reason.

He sure was angry.

On another note, did anybody see his letter addressed to the members on his divorce? It was truly sad.

I NEVER EVER thought I'd agree with anything Benny Hinn had to say. God Bless him- he preached the truth in that video.

I do agree with what he said in the video, but BH is a quack preacher IMO.

LOL @ "Benny Hinn of all people":lachen:

My sentiments exactly.

Here's a quote from this youtube video (a comment):

that's ironic....one false prophet confronting another...both are wrong...one for not speaking the truth and not saying Christ is the only way and the other for speaking for God plus many other things...

Wow...I am floored..I am sorry for Joel's lack of conviction and I agree with BH although I question his doctrine for sure and am not at all a fan of BH. The bible warns us so many times to BEWARE and to test everything. I am so glad I have the truth and know that Jesus is the only way..but I am sad for those who say they are believers but are afraid to tell the truth in love-Jesus is the only way. We have to watch and pray and keep it real with one another. Peter confronted Paul when he called himself not associating with the Gentiles because he didnt want the Jews looking at him funny LOL. We have to be honest with one another especially when when we see fellow believers entertaining false doctrine and we have to do it the way God instruct in His word. Hearing that Joel is deceived or at the least afraid to keep it real just really makes the words to the song-I dont know why HE loves me!!- so timely. God loves us so much and the provision He has made for us is crazy!! Eye has not seen-we have no idea how awesome and amazing our eternity is going to be..that why He is worth the extra time and effort we have to put into studying His Word and rightly dividing it.

Preach that word! *throw handkerchief at Nik4Jesus*

Oh, that Binny Hinn. I love it when he tells the truth. That's the main facet of Christianity, believing the teachings of Christ. If you don't believe Jesus, then why call yourself a Christian? But when he starts talking about mind befuddling things, I have to change the channel. Example: Years ago he said he was going to die before the age of 50. How old is he now? Example: He also said that if a woman lost a baby (I don't remember if it was to miscarriage of after it was born) then she would get to raise it in heaven. What?! Who's going to be raising babies in heaven? Where is that scriptual? It doesn't even make earthly sense, implying that aging, time, cell division and puberty are going to be going on in heaven. Uhhh...anyway. Yeah I like Binny:look:
