Thanks y'all! I'm familiar with Hiawassee Road and I'll be checking out the other one on International drive. The weather has been nice lately and I'll be trying to blow dry and flat iron, not too much humidity.

Funny you should say that. It is raining as I type so don't plug in the flat iron just yet. Lol
Super Beauty Depot changed to me. When they first opened they had EVERYTHING. I think now it's more wigs and hair than anything. There is a new BSS on International Dr. in that mall I think it's a Marshall's, Ross and Bed Bath & Beyond...right before the outlets. They have some good stuff. there are a couple of BSS in the Walmart mall on Kirkman in Metro West.
Bumping this thread.
Just moved to Orlando area and I would like to know if anyone can recommend a "hood" BSS? There is a Sally near me and Walmart have a decent selection, but there are certain products that I'm sure I'd only find at a "hood spot" like Hicks Edges Gel.
The only product I've been successful in using for a twistout/braidout that won't explode in Florida humidity is Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting Butter (at Target.) I can use it on wet or dry hair. Cantu Shea butter worked too (on dry hair only), but it builds up on my hair badly. (Glycerin is not high on it's list.)Bumping...got a question...
I'm thinking of going natural and moving to Florida (Valrico/Brandon) in the Fall.
It sounds like it's hard to keep straight styles. If your natural what about braid outs or twist outs? As a natural can you do out styles in Florida, or only buns and ponytails?
