I do it on wet hair, sometimes later in the week I'll redo a few layers on dry hair when they get frizzy.
When you "redo" What product do you use? leave-in cond etc...?

Something creamy so it can stay on the rod. Right now I use BBD glass.
Hmmmm the BBD glass sounds intresting! Ima check to see if Sally carries it.

I'm going to try this when I take my braids out in August. I pray that it works well on my hair because I'm trying to keep heat out of it. If this doesn't work I don't know what I'm going to do. I just might have to brush it back and wear a head wrap for the remainder of the summer... ::sigh:: :ohwell: I don't know.

Do you rod your hair wet or dry? Do you get better results either way?TIA

I’ve only done flexirod sets on wet hair and they turn out really nice--- at least when I do it on others’ hair. When I performed this style on others, a simple setting solution like Lottabody sufficed, however, I just did this style on my hair and used too many products (creamy ones included) causing a different outcome. Everyone’s technique and hair is different, through trial and error you'll find out what works best for you.

I did my sets on wet hair. I added my leave-in, sprayed some setting lotion and wonder 8 oil and rolled about 10-15 sections using purple rods. I usually sat under the dryer for about and hour and let my hair air dry the rest of the night. If I need to re-rod during the week I just dab that section with water and re-roll. The curl forms in seconds.

I roll on dry hair. I wet the ends with a dab of water to lessen frizz.

I use about 10 purple and gray rollers.
