Do you ladies put it in the fridge, orin a cupboard (or something). I do not put mine in the fridge but i read somewhere that you should, even though im sure mine says store in a cool and dry place. I want to know if i need to buy some more.

TIA

Mine are in liquid gel form so i store them in a cupboard with other meds:)

i keep mine in the fridge. but i have the liquid. i keep the flaxseed capsules in the lazy susan.

i read somewhere that oils like flaxseed spoil/lose their quality when heated. you are suppose to even keep nuts in the fridge for the same reason. the oil in nuts shouldn't be heated either.

Yeah you have to keep flaxseed oil away from heat and light because that will make it go rancid. I keep my flaxseed oil in the fridge.

Hmm i keep mine all in the bottom of my waldrobe. It stays cool, and its out of sun light, so i guess there ok. Thanx ladies

Flax oil thats been cold pressed will get rancid very quickly.

In order to combat this, its best to keep pills and oils in the fridge. (when its rancid it can really do a number on you!) If you're keeping the softgels in a cool dark area, instead of the fridge, do make sure its an area that stays at a constant temperature and does not get damp.

Flax Oils should always be put in the fridge.

On a personal note, if I by any oil that may have a possibility of getting rancid (flax and fish oils) I always put them in the fridge.

I have an organic flaxseed/evening primrose oil mix. They kept it in the fridge in the store, so I continued that
