I would really, really LOVE to learn to do some flat twists on my hair. I also would like to learn to cornrow but first things first. Does anyone know a good pictorial guide or can someone explain it well enough for me to get it? I would be ever so greatful!!!
I know how to do them, but it's hard to explain. I had a book that has pictorial guides in it, but can't think of the name right now! I'll have to ask my friend...will post later with the name!
Okay, I've PM'ed you with the information and here is the name of the book for anyone else who wants to know.
It's All Good Hair: The Guide to Styling and Grooming Black Children's Hair
by Michele N-K Collison
This book has some really cute styles in it and also has detailed and pictorial guides to basic twisting and braiding. It also has cute styling ideas for both children AND adults (even though the title only says children) : ) I checked it out from my local library.
