I have always washed and treated my fakey like my real deal by washing and conditioning with regular shampoo/conditioner, I also trim the ends when they look rough! or totally recut the weave into a new style. I would get long, then go to medium before just giving it a short cut.

How ironic, I just found this today while browsing YT and I came here to post it

I found that it does work. The hair was very damp and I used a very old iron that I allowed to heat up for about 2 mins. Now, I was too lazy to have curled the entire wig but it would have totally revamped it and made it wearable
