A few days ago I washed my hair, put it in about 5 or 6 bantu knots and airdried my hair. Actually, I sat under a hood dryer to let it finish drying. At times I took the knots out to let them dry a bit on there own. After about 6 hours they were dry. Then I flatironed each section. Ultimately there was much less manipulation and it didn't take as much heat from the flatiron to straighten my hair. Thanks to anyone that posted about this technique. It's a keeper! Now I just need a product that truly blocks out the humidity.
