One thing I've missed about having relaxed hair was the ability to do rollersets. I've wanted to try one on my natural hair for a very long time but feared it would be too poofy. I decided to go ahead and try it so if nothing else, I could get it out of my system. Although I can see ways to tweak my process, here are a couple of pics...

It looks good!

If you want it a little less poofy with a little more body, next time use larger rollers and put less hair on each roller.

That is so pretty! I can't wait until my hair gets a little longer.

Thanks for sharing. Your hair is lovely. I will definitely try your technique.

it came out really lovely!!
interesting idea about braiding the roots....hmmm...something to think about

Look at that pretty hair, ooh lala lol. Very nice!

It looks great. Your set is smoother than the ones I do. And I am relaxed.

Yes, I have no reason not to transition now! Thanks your hair looks beautiful!!

Thanks so much for the compliments. For the advice given, I'm certainly taking notes. :yep:

Purplepeace – you are so right about pulling it tight. That’s key!
Growinglong – copy? Girl judging from your siggie, you’ve got it down to an art already. Absolutely gorgeous!
Danigurl – ur hair goal in your siggie looks like you and your hair! I had to do a double-take. I think you can certainly achieve the length.
FindingMe – you made my day!

I love this set.. omg I thought in the other thread for hiding your hair, that you were relaxed.. Thats how good it came out!
