It's pretty

, but I wonder if it prevents damage like ceramic ones do? I can't even bring myself to trust ceramic heat enough to try that yet. Yes, someone try it

.

Oooohhh, pretty! I don't use heat enough to spend another hundred bucks on a glass iron.

That would look really good on my bathroom counter...

Oh you ladies. LOL

When JMP do them for £20 then I will get one like my ceramic iron.

i've been curious about them too. i've seen them at wal-mart and target but i bought a ceramic already so i'm waiting on someone else to try it...

I want a flat iron. Oh, how I want a flat iron. Must...not...splurge...

ooh I'm getting all excited over this new glass flat iron. I just realized that when you touch glass surfaces such as a plate or drinking glass it is so much more smoother than touching a ceramic surface such as a mug. It probably means that the glass can get your hair even straighter than the ceramic will. I think I might try it soon.

<font color="purple">I saw what Sassy was talking about the glass straightener from Conair on TV. And I have to agree on Curlybun's point. When you run your fingers against glass, the surface is smooth. It might be even better than the ceramic flat irons out there. When I purchase one, I'll be the first to give either a thumbs

or thumbs

I just saw a commercial this morning from Conair. They too have a glass flat iron.

Someone please buy it, I'm too chicken.

Edited to say: Conair, not Clairol.

<font color="purple">I was at Wal-Mart today and saw the glass straightener for a cheaper price than Kmart. Wal-Mart's price is $23.00+. I may purchase it and let you know the results. Now if I had a Kodak disposable digital camera, I would post my pics in my yahoo album.
