I finally got my twists done after debating for a long time about choosing expensive human hair from Lugo's or much cheaper synthetic hair. Since I was very leery of having bulky twists I chose the human hair (jheri curl to be exact), plus I have to be extra careful about tension and pulling especially with my thin edges recovering. So here are some photos of the hair before I did bantu knot-out and after. I'm not sure I would pay to get my whole head done anytime soon but I will probably let my cousin rebraid the top after a month. Also I discovered another plus about the Lugo's hair is it is easily manipulated and has a lot of bounce/body after you do bantu knots/braids etc.
