Finally Broke Down & Bought MSM Powder

I found it at a Vitamin World store. The only other ingredient is silica, and it passed the water test! If anyone wants to order online, the website is vitaminworld.com. I am so done with those cheap Wal-Mart capsules that make me want to choke!

They contain fillers & the capsules have a tendency to get stuck in my throat, which I hate. I just plan to mix the powder into a cup of orange juice. One half teaspoon equals 3000mg.

I am currently taking the Pure MSM pills. I am going to switch over to the powder as well but the price will pretty much double. :-(

I found a 1000mg per 1/4tablespoon MSM from the vitaminshoppe. Not sure where else I can get the other brands.

Okay someone else posted a link to Swanson for MSM. I went on the site and 1lb is $10.49. I couldn't believe it so I called the company. I spoke with Beverly who assured me it is the OptiMSM, and that the reason they can sell so much cheaper is because they do no retail locations except for one small store. She also told me that their shipping no matter if it is a $2 order or a $1000 order is always only $4.95. She said they ship 3-4 thousand orders a day and that is why they can sell so cheap. I wanted to buy the powdered MSM but at vitaminshoppe (1000mg per 1/4 Teaspoon) but I am currently taking GNC MSM with glucosamine and I get 1500mg MSM by taking two GNC pills.
Unless I double dose on the powdered MSM to get more than the 1000mg per dose, then I think I am getting more with GNC by sticking to their two pills, plus I get the benefits of glucosamine.

I am seeing a growth though...(or maybe my braids are just slipping)...

Well I have been taking it by the spoonful....I just take so many other pills that the powder is easier to swallow. Plus, IMHO the powder is less baggage and gets there quicker. I also ordered the Asorbic Vit C which is suppose to help with getting the MSM into your system. Good growing.
