I pretty much wear my hair in two strand twists or up in some protective styles. Lately I've been finding hairs around some short and obviously broken off and some long ones that don't always have the white bulb on the end. And it seems as though my hair has been MBL for sometime now and I'm getting a little frustrated and bored with my hair. If anyone has any advice for me, I'd appreciate it. I'm thinking I may get some Senegalese twists put in in August or something. Idk...I'm really getting bored with it and annoyed that 1) it doesn't seem to be growing past MBL or it's breaking off and remaining stagnant and 2) I'm getting bored with the styling.
Any and all advice would be much appreciated.

I would like to see what others say because I am feeling the exact way right now and its frustrating trying to figure out what next to do with your hair

Look on the bright side you made it to MBL. I just barely passed APL :wallbash::wallbash:

Just don't do anything drastic...Senegalese twist sounds great !

HTH

It's nice that I made it to MBL, but I want some length and since I wear my hair curly and refuse to straighten until December I can't really enjoy it. Hence my annoyance. And also my reason for wanting Senegalese

I was bunning and I was seriously thinking about a rollerset. I think that would make me want to flat iron my roots and wear it straight because I couldn't find any info where a natural didn't have to do something to her roots to get them straight.

I don't usually have to do anything to get my roots straight (I think I posted in that thread as well).

I feel the way that you do at this time. However, my hair is only at apl and I really want to cut it off. So what I did was find a phony ponytail to match my hair and added a couple of flowers and I am happy again with my hair. (see siggy). Also try a coffee rinse even though it is for shedding it has also help with my breakage. I really like it and I have only done it one time so far. I will be doing it again today when I wash my hair. Also you may be using to many products with protein, that is always the cause for my breakage.
