February 2012...What Did YOU Buy This Week? (Hair Care Edition)

You know I am trying so hard to keep a tight control over my stash but sad to say I'm slipping right back to where I was over 2 years ago....I mean, it is growing steadily by leaps and bounds:nono:.

Once again, I'm getting ready to take a load and I do mean a load of products to Sojourner's to donate. I'm also giving my SIL some products to use on her girls hair. I took her some stuff about a month ago and she loved how well it worked on the girls super thick hair.

:ohwell:I tried to resist but I had to try CON argan oil moisture and shine shampoo, intensive conditioner and oil moisturiser. I also bought HELTR condis, folicure moisturising condish and folicure moisturising leave in. SO much for using up my stash.

Ms. Tiki Gurl...You know it's the Truff. Life is hard out here for a PJ:nono:...:spinning:

@Coffee Yes....We had Ms. Coffee all along.:grin:

@Aggie Girl, PJ-ism is just that Serious.:blush:

All you can do is take it one day at a time. And hope the Spurrrrrt leaves you.:nono:...:lol:

I have become quite the PJ since becoming fully natural. I just want to try everything. Anyway....I bought:

Redken Extreme Builder Plus (for protein)
Biolage Conditioning Balm (for moisture)
Deva Angel Gel

I would appreciate any recs for a good leave-in for moisture, curl definition and frizz control.

JC Penney's today, I got the following for only $39.26:

Redken's Smooth Down Butter Treat
Redken's All Soft Heavy Cream
Redken's Smooth Down Conditioner
Redken Extreme Strength Builder Plus

For some reason the Smooth Down condish rang up $3 and that's what they sold it for :lachen:.

@IDareT'sHair @Aggie

You can definitely overcome PJ'ism. It is a one day at a time thing and will only happen in time.

It takes will power for sure. Sure I'd like to go off and buy things sometimes but then I am like Nah, you have about 4 of those or something very much like it. So no need.

So far this year I have used 1 of my 6 passes! Pretty proud of myself :-)
I put a limit this year not because I couldn't control myself but I wanted to use up what I have.

Good luck ladies and you can do it! If you put your mind to it, one day at a time!

I bought more applicator bottles for my various oils. I had to leave that BSS quick before I got the urge to buy more things.

What I bought this week:

1. Indigo and Jamila Henna (400g each) (from Butter&Bars)
2. Splitender
3. Affirm Fiberguard relaxer (normal)
4. Affirm Fiberguard Preservo
5. Keracare Humecto
6. Alterna Caviar Moisturizing Shampoo (sulfate free...courtesy of Salon Cabello)
7. Alterna Caviar Moisturizing Conditioner (courtesy of Salon Cabello)
8. Joico K-Pak Deep Penetrating reconstructor
9. Soft & Style 3 pc Rubber Color applicator Set
10. Diane Mesh Rollers
11. Hairfinity (2 month supply)
12. Length Measuring Shirt (from grow it already)
13. Crock Hair clips (from Sally's)
14. Sweet Almond Oil
15. Generic Joico Split end mender

An no....I'm not a product junky. This stuff will last me until the end of the year....well apart from the conditioners, hairfinity, and maybe the henna/indigo

I bought an Andis ceramic/tourmaline/ion blow dryer (1875 watts) tonight. I really needed a blow dryer to control my SSKs.
