What is Salerm??? Is it a conditioner or are people using it that way??? I think I would like to try it. I found it at Metro Beauty and that and the other products look interesting.

Salerm as stated above is product line made in Spain. The Wheat Germ Conditioner is a conditioner which I use with heat for about 30 minunte. I use the Salerm 21 silk protein leave-in as a leave in, so technically I should not have posted it on this thread.....but I like it so much that I did

. I find that the leave-in makes my wet detangleed hair even easier to comb. Salerm also makes products in small vials such as conditioners and leave-ins that I have never used, but have heard good things about. You can read more about them at their website Salerm home page

You can also try doing a search on here about Salerm products.....other members who have used them have posted about them previously as well.

I use the Salerm 21 as a deep conditioner with stellar results. My friend was telling me about using it as a deep conditioner and that it makes her hair soft and detangled.

When I got the Salerm 21 I thought it was supposed to be a deep conditioner. When brownrelaxedhair said it was a leave-in I was like,

The directions/description on the bottle aren't very clear. It even says something about deep cleaning the hair.

I emailed Metrobeauty and they said it can be used as a leave-in and a rinse-out conditioner.

I'll have to try it again as a rinse-out. I forgot if I liked it or not.

Wow where do you get the 11 en 1??? What is different about it???

[/ QUOTE ]

I found it at El Mundo on 125 and B'way (OR try Rama Beauty S. 105 and Amsterdam in NYC.) Are you in NYC? If not, I'm not sure who would ship it out .

It's a different consistancy, its thick but "lighter"easier to spread than 10 En 1 to me .....the ingredients are really different alot of naturals , garlic, onion, watercrest, carrot, ect. (11 naturals in all) so I think this does different things...my scalp feels alot better, I had been feeling ichy after 2 or 3 days and now I don't feel that way. Also i believe garlic prevents shedding , and I'm definitely noticing less hair in my comb....It gives really great slip for me.....

I think they are both great...you can't go wrong with either, i just wanted to change 'cause I'd been using 10 -1 for a long time.....and I saw the different ingre.

Yes, this is correct. If you are not familiar with the product, you may not realize that Salerm 21 can indeed be used as a leave-in.

I love it!

Toque Emergencia...I get the 2lb size :D

I have the Crom Emergencia...
How do you use your Emergencia?,
how long do you leave it on?
do you use heat with it?
do you add any fixed or essential oil to it?
I don't know how to use it.....I was just going to apply it on freshly clarified washed hair ...then follow up with an hot oil treatment and a long deep moitsurizing treatment...
TIA

Is that your where you go for your rollersets? I remember going there one time to get a roller set with a friend ( I would have to go further uptown to go to my place so I settled for her place) My hair was a hot mess when I left. I don't even have any idea why...All I got was a roller set. My friends hair seemed fine...I guess but I don't really dont know that because she always applied so much oil to her hair afterwards, and I like that bouncy look not a greased up mane. But your hair looks nice in your Avatar. Is that their work? Girl that day is a mystery to me.

I do all kinda stuff with it....If I could eat it I probably would..lol

I like to stretch it a bit so sometimes I mix with a cholesterol or a protein conditioner. Sometimes I use it buy itself too, especially during the summer when I'd be out in the sun all day. I always add a little bit of oil and honey to my deep conditioners. Sometimes I use heat for the first 20 min then just let it stay on for an hour or two. For me this stuff works anyway I use it, what I do exactly depends on the condition of my hair at that time.

Instead of following it up with a hot oil treatment, You could add the oil to the emergencia and heat both up them up and add the warmed conditioner to your hair. It kills 2 birds with 1 stone. :)
