Do y'all think that style is cute? It's like a french roll thing in the very front of the head with a ponytail in the back? I'm thinking about wearing my hair like this...but I'm not sure if it'll look crazy.

That's a really tame version of a faux hawk. If anyone has seen Fefe Dobson, she wears this style a lot. Its when you have a puffed up front in the shape of what a mohawk would be if you had cut6 your hair. Not sure that really describes it tho...
I personally love the style cuse it goes well with my face shape. It makes your face look narrower than it is. Its really trendy and not for everydy wear but for a party or a special occasion, then definitely.

i like it but only with a real funky outfit killer makeup and the best shoes ever. in short if you dont look like you stepped off a runway please refrain. only others who may pull it off are the hair stylist or makeup artist looks.

It's a cute style!!! In SHM (Sophisticate's Hair Magazine) they have a really good picture of this style. I don't necessarily believe you have to wear any type of outfit to pull this look off. My friend Tiff pulled this style off in a red suit at our Christmas dinner so the outfit has nothing to do with it. It's all about how you handle yourself and that style really stands out!!!! Go ahead and try it out...let us know how things go if you decide to...

I like it, too. I doubt I could pull it off, though. I think it looks fine whether you dress casual or funky.

It all depends on how well you have it done. If it looks anything less than controlled chaos, you may end up looking nuts.

I'm pretty casual, so I'd wear it with faded jeans and a graphic tee (which is really in for this Fall) and some bracelets.

BTW, I'm stealing this pic and putting it in my Style/Inspirations folder

i saw this style alot when i was in baltimore this summer. the girls up there had the mohawk thing in the front with their hair cornrowed with extensions towards the middle of their head (like a mohawk) AND curls on the end. i also saw the version like in the picture above.

I think I saw Kelis a couple of years ago with the cornrows you're describing, swirl.
IMO this style is very nice. I think I'll try it out one of these days.

I want to try this style out, but I can't now since I just got a sew-in today. I'ma try this style as soon as the weave comes out.

i like it...i love it actually...i wear it some times except i wear a bannana clip so the hair would start higher in the back, and fall nicely...
