Do you think is is a good way of protective styling when transitioning? I brough one of those track hairs and when I was done washing my hair, I moisturized it and put the majority of it in a high ball then wrapped it around the ball. I think it looks cute but do you think I could get away with this for whole transitioning period?

I think so. It's a low maintenance protective style. It's easy and no fuss. That's how I do my buns. My mother grew her neck length bob out like that years ago. She would go to the salon and get it pinned up with a ponytail every week or two weeks. Her hair grew past her shoulder after some months.

OMG I so thought that was your hair..LOL. It looked like you had your hair wrapped around in a bun with a scruncie on it but NOW I can tell.

I transitioned using fake ponytails. I mainly used a drawstring because it was easy (and less painful that all those bobby pins). It worked great for me.

There was a period for some time I used a phony pony with weft hair maybe on & off for about 3 months and I got a lot of growth from it....
