I started MTG sometime in march and after jus two weeks my hair started to shedd badly! i mean..coming out from the root!
I immediately stoped it but i started the mixture of sulphur n WGO, today, i took out one canerow to redo it and oh no:mad: the shedding was stl there!...it looks so ugly!.
I stop using all the mixtures today! and i will jus stick to my wgo that didnt cause me shedding or much breakage in the past....
The help i need now is that, how do i get my hair back to normal! i mean shop teh shedding! ..help me...i am so scared to touch my hair..
below is the picture of the hair that came out from that row...

I dunno that doesn't look too bad to me. How long were the canerows in? that could just be a week's worth of shedding. also...does your hair shed as the seasons change?

I wish only that much came out from my hair on a daily basis. :lachen: I'm a shedder. Always have been and always will be. Sometimes I freak out when I look at how much comes out, but then i remember that it isnt breakage so it cant be bad.

BTW, it is better for the hair to come out at the roots than from the ends. Coming out at the roots does not mean that you are losing length, but rather, those particular strands have lived their life.

thanx...i wouldnt worry much but i never shedd! and i hardly have breakage, this is the first!..that is from oonly one section of my hair!....
i guess soo..ie better from the root!...

hey!

i just took out my cornrows yesterday after having mtg on for almost two weeks...my hair shed a lot (lol the amount i shed makes the amount you shed look like a strand of hair! lol:lol: ) but think about all the fallen hairs in the cornrows (especially if you leave them in for a few weeks and your hair is accustomed to being combed regularly) it might've just been from that so i don't think you'd have a problem using MTG if youd still want to...

if you don't ever want to use it again and fix your hair, just dont use mtg anymore and your hair will be fine after a few washes because it takes time to remove it entirely from your scalp! but other than that, you'll be fine!;)

ps: if i remember correctly (read on the bottle and let me know cos i chucked mines!) theres suposed to be some shedding of bad/broken hairs once you start on mtg...

it could just be normal shedding. my hair sheds alot period, even more when the seasons change. it's normal to shed 50 strands a day.

are they coming from the root?

how long have the braids been in?

i braid my daughter's hair weekly and she sheds(ded) quite a bit each week by the time i'm washing it. since you're worried i would go back to the same routine prior to the shedding.... maybe test a product prior to braiding. hope all goes well
