I did not know if to post this here or on the health part. For the last past three days. I have been taking Waterpills to combat my salt intake. Does anyone know if this causes shedding? My hair has been shedding and that is really the only thing I have been doing differently as well as using WGO. Thanks. Maybe it is the WGO, I don't know. TIA

These type of pills don't have shedding as a side effect.

OK thanks. For reason I was thinking that the pills were taking all of the excess water out of my body, which effected the internal moisture needed to grow hair.

Are you drinking lots of water? One should when taking this type of medication (since it increases urination). I have a few female relatives who take a precription water pill.

I try to get in 2L of water a day. My pills are over the counter.

Water pills are for people who retain water weight gain. I am a heavy salt eater and the salt causes me to retain water weight. So when I take these pills they release that tension. If I go a whole week without eating salt I can drop 10 pounds just like that.

what do water pills do??

Make you pee like crazy....most doctors prescribe them for people with high blood pressure since when you take in salt you retain water.
