Im at the beautician and I watching this one lady mold her clients hair into the style, sit her under the dryer. When she was dry she began to flat iron the back portion. She styled the top and went back with the Marcel curling iron on the back she just flat ironed. Smh I know to never go to here.

That is crazy and 98% of the time, their Marcel irons have no heat controls..they don't even know how hot the irons are smdh too.

I have no issues with marcel irons in fact I have gotten the silkiest, flowiest hair this way. The stylists using these on me waited a bit before running it over my hair or didn't leave it in the stove long. I have never had heat damage from this method. Meanwhile the Dominicans burned my hurr to a crisp and are the reason I have been natural for a decade or so.
