exact inches are needed

Hello ladies I really need your help to make it easier on me... I need to know APL what are the exact inches on your head when you are there? BSL what are the exact inches on your head when you get to that length?
Trying to see if this method will make it easier to keep up with my hair without having to put heat on my head to do length check.

Other people's inches will not be the same as yours so how will that help you? You can stretch your hair and pull it to check your length without using heat.

You will be arm pit length when your hair reaches your armpit. That may translate to 10 inches for me and 8 inches for you. It varies for each person.

The reason for the APL, BSL/BSB, etc. is because everyone is a different height. 20 inches from the hair line could be APL on 5'9 woman and MBL on someone who is 5'0 (these are made up examples). Does that make sense?
