Ever Feel Like You Have Grace But No Favor?

I just had dinner and feeling thankful. All I can do is my best.
I did see your earlier post. I have had those moments, whining and weeping before Him asking, "What is going on? What is Your will for me? What do You want me to do? " Etc., etc... The favor comes when you are being an instrument in His Hand, while you are performing His Will at the moment or during a rest period. Grace is the protection He gives us while we learn to engage with Him.

Sounds like to me it is time to take another step on your journey. Seek after Him, not just pray. Seek His Will. Seek His truth. Seek His Word for you. Seek His opinion of you. Seek His correction. Recognize all the different ways He tries to reach and teach you. Ask for confirmation. Let the tears fall...

Thanks. Your post has really given me something to think about. I feel like a child whining and complaining but I truly do seek understanding.

I thought obedience was enough but I think I do need to built a relationship (I never really knew how) but I think I know now!

I’ve had some very bad examples in life so I truly am a late bloomer.

Thanks for your reply.

No, you are right on time. My mother had to wait until her children were close to middle-age before she got her relationship with Yah flowing.

Seeking in the Hebrew means to hunger for more, for something greater and pressing into it. "I want You, Father." Yes, obedience is a step in the right direction, but there is something greater - His Will becoming your desire. His Son set the example:

"I only do what the Father shows Me."

"My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work."

"I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me."

Pursue Him with your whole heart. Be willing to let Him take a crowbar and fire to root out the darkness within. Get into the habit of seeking Him and His wisdom before you react. Trust Him above all else, and wait on Him. "Those who seek Me will find Me." Hold Him to that; He will respond. Paid attention to what goes on around you; He may "speak" but not with words. His work on, in, and around you will be His mark, His signature on your life.
