I'm getting the beat down by the Great White Search Result screen :wallbash:

Would like the link to a site that carries an excellent pure Emu Oil source.

I want to make a home made formula for my thinning hair. My doctor gave me an Rx for Rogaine, I am so afraid to try it because once you start using it, you have to continue or you will loose the hair you gain...so I am looking at this as a last resort.

The good news is that the hair that I have on my head is is such beautiful shinny shape! LOL ... I just need to thicken up...

Thanks in Advance for your help, I know you all have answered this question many times.

I got my EMU oil from a natural health store. Check your local health food store.

I purchased mine from The Vitamin Shoppe.

oooh, your hair sure is shinny!! I haven't had any luck finding it locally...and I refuse to go to Whole Pay Check bka Whole Foods :lachen:

I get mine at the from nature with love website. Excellent quality

Check out www.gardenofwisdom.com she sells 16 oz for $25 of good quality pure emu oil. It's not separated, just in case that matters. She has decent shipping costs and pretty fast service.

I bought mine from a local healthfood store. The supplier went out of business, and my next bottle will HAVE to come from "Whole Paycheck"! I just save up a couple of months to buy what I want, when I want to splurge!

Got mines from the good ole vitamin shoppe, but I would completely encourage you to order of line!!!! Much more bang for your buck.

Awww, thank you all so much for your responses!!

I guess the thing I was worried about buying locally is that I am not sure what to look for regarding quality because I never used the product. I have read just enough on the sites to see that there can be a great variance in quality...smell being one of them, and purness being another. I will take a look at all the sites suggested here.

I do know from reading that Emu oil has excellent properties as far as being absorbed into the skin and reducing inflammation of the hair follicles. I think that will be very helpful for me.

Thanks again :-):thankyou:

Excellent resources for Emu Oil. I am an Emu Oil fan too!

For thickening your hair also try massaging Castor Oil onto your scalp.
