Well, I was supposed to be a long term transitioner but last Sunday (7/18/10) I took the plunge and did the BC! I couldn't stand looking at my scraggly relaxed ends any longer. On wash day, I took my trusty hair scissors that I bought years ago, let out a big sigh and started cutting.
I'm so glad that I did because not only does my hair look better, it feels better and is no longer breaking I've been transitioning for about 14 months. I now have enough natural hair to put into a cute afro puff and I couldn't be happier. The good thing is that I placed a pic on my facebook page of my new cut and I've had so much positive feedback from my family and friends...I wasn't expecting that!
I only have one pic uploaded of my new haircut so here it is...
I will upload more pics once I get home. Looks like I'm a thick, lush 4B! I'm excited to start growing out my hair the natural way! Thanks for viewing!
ETA: here's my other pics I promised. The first is my hair in a cute puff air dried with product. The rest are my hair wet sans product.
