Okay so I have been dealing with this transition and it was winning. Yesterday for the first time I wore my own hair out all funky and nappy and loved it. I will rock this look on the weekend and bun during the week for work. Im excited, went thru 2 banana clips and they still wouldn't hold so I had umteen amount of bobby pins in my hair. I have a close but my brother walked out the house with my camera.

lol!! I haven't worn a banana clip in years!! I can remember when I was growing up, I actually broke quite a few of them myself, and I had an S-curl back then! :D

With 100% natural hair, I... just don't see it happening! :lachen:

Yay for thick hair, I guess... :look:

Thanks ladies!
Yes I need to find an extra wide thick one. If I just make thru mon-friday with a bun its wild hair on the weekend.

you got get the banana clip shape like an oval w/ the clasp on top and even w/ that it's a struggle. Be proud to wear it "nappy" and try to ignore the looks.

I have in a banana clip for the past three days....lookin good girl, i c u over there

Getting a banana clip in my hair is a joke at this point. How do you use the bobby pins?

Is the clip you talking about with the clasp made by "goody"?
