Have you used it? Was it good? Is this stuff a joke? Did it make anything easier, harder, the same? Would you buy it again? Is it a keeper? Did anyone waste their hard earned PJ cash?

Cause I just bought the protein conditioner masque and the penetrating balm. It said it was for people with textured, course, or hard to manage hair, and I was in need of a deep conditioner (Im staying home for the weekend and forgot to pack one... plus Im a PJ and needed an excuse to go to CVS)...

Im about to use this stuff tonight, but I just want to know if anyone has any input on the line (positive, negative, neutral, etc...)

I thought that her products sucked. I used the shampoo/conditioner and the deep conditioning masque and I felt that it did nothing for my hair.

Man Im sorry i brought this stuff up.:nono: I'll never bother nobody else again with this mess:

I just opened this mess and it smells like dish washing liquid. Seriously, Its not even getting points for smell, but I like how the conditioner is making my hair slip through my fingers like butter. But the smell is enough to make me not want to use it again... seriously, detergent???

the balm better do the same thing, and im hoping it don't smell like laundry detergent or drain cleaner or something else repulsive.....

I always associate Lavar with weaves for some reason. Aside from the smell, how do you like the results on your hair?

Funny you say that, I work as a Assistant Manager at a CVS in DC, Ellin came to our job for hair consultations and had a orange weave that through me way ff.

I was upset because there were lady's with GORGEOUS natural and relaxed hair asking her about what that should do with their hair, I wanted to pluck some of those customers. I was ready to ask her some questions, but that orange weave turned me in the opposite direction.

Oh yea, the day she came was the only day anyone bought her products, one of those lady's brought it back the next day. Her products are in our stock department taking up space, and holding dust.

Sorry if this seems like a hate post, it's not, I just couldn't hold it anymore.

To Miss*Tress:

It still smells like detergent
AND it did nothing. My hair did not feel conditioned. It did not feel moisturized. It was as if just I shampooed and that was it.
The ingredients sounded decent, but it doesnt even feel like what it says it is.
I feel like I wasted 11 dollars or however much I spent

I shoulda asked yall first :wallbash: now here I am trying to figure out a way to get rid of it w/o throwing it away.

I think I'll prepoo with the masque and use the balm as a last resort when I know I'll be washing soon... Ida been the same off putting some lotion on my head...

I have the Conditioning Rinse---I don't think I have ever tried it unmixed...so I dont' know

The detangling Leave-In--was fine, nothing to write home about and I haven't repurchased it.

the fact that she charges a thousand dollars for weave hair that cost her at most 40 dollars made me steer clear of her products. i know i'm a day late and $11 short though

When I watched her show i use to look at how they worked and Ellin's hair. Im sorry I would be better off with the Dominicans. I have watched them rip thru people's head with blow dryers. No thanks.

I actually looove these products:grin:

Especially the leave-in(the cream, not the spray).

I love it so much that i'm attempting to cancel my recent order for LACIO LACIO...with mink oil:blush:
