Wow this thread gave me a lot of info because am new to stretching I am now 10wks post and my NG is kicking so with all this new info I will keep on stretching
I am now using Taaliah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifyer and that works great for hydrating the ng. My breakage comes from my right side being not as straight as the left. I think the right side is a little underprocessed to be honest. I feel that the right side remains dryer and coarser than the other.
co-sign I'll be 18 months post tomorrow and I try to make sure there are ceramides in pretty much everything I use-shampoo, conditioner, leave-in and oil that I seal with. I avoid the hard core protein and find that using the Aphogee 2 min every couple of weeks really has helped with the breakage. I also try to minimize manipulation unless it's wash day.
