---I'm going to say vitamins---definitely Flaxseed and Evening Primorse--to moisturize your new growth from the inside

--good diet with lots of water
---moisturizing shampoos and conditioners
--if you relax, don't relax bone straight/don't overlap, and try to extend the time you get your touch up---if you can.

--and if your hair is super straight, with almost no life, try roller sets and braid outs, instead of using heat (blow dryers/flat irons).

Anybody else have any additional ideas???

According to this website (which I might add is in dire need of proofing/editing, grammerwise ie), acidifying your hair can help improve its elasticity. Among the products recommended are:
<ul type="square">- Sunset Hair Elements Hair Repair (pH 3.5)...
- Nexxus Ensure (pH 3.0)
- L'anza Chemical Balancer (pH 2.5) (professional use only)
- Paul Mitchell Seal and Shine (pH 3.0)
- Nexxus Epitome (pH3.0)
- Nexxus Emergencee (pH3.0)
- Call Matrix - ask for a pH product 3.5 or lower
- Call Aveda - ask for a pH product 3.5 or lower
- Call your favorite brand - ask for a pH product 3.5 or lower[/list]

To maintain a weekly deep conditioner should suffice. Also daily moisture is also the key. To regain elasticity you need moisture deep conditioning and more moisture. I like to use Lekair cholesterol it does wonders for restoring elasticity.

A good moisturizing conditioner
