What type of low pH conditioners do you recommend?

Candycane

Hey Candycane,

Sorry!

I don't have any particular recommendations on this. I just know that using a low pH conditioner helps with elasticity.

Another question...

How do you determine the pH of a conditioner? Thx

Candycane

Brittany, this topic has been discussed before. Here's a thread that might help.

Thanks Konie!

Candycane,

If you can find Nonie's thread with the low pH conditioners, it is invaluable information. I don't remember any of them

But the Mermade is one I have at home & the pH is listed on the tub.

Don't relax all of the texture out of it...ie bone straight.

Also,

I don't know if this one has a low pH, but I remember the L'Anza Moisturizing Conditoiner & Detangler combo providing me with some really good elasticity. I ended up taking them back because I'm a PJ & I knew I'd be switching products in 2 weeks again anyway

but they were good products.

I agree with Curlycrly. Use a milder relaxer and/or wait longer between touchups.

Thanks to your post Kupergirl, I realized the link within the link I provided isn't working. So here is the thread with the list of low PH products.

You can use Roux Porosity Control shampoo and conditioner. It improves the elasticity and porosity of the hair. And you can purchase the sample bottles also.
