My faves are the DPR-11 moisturizing conditioner & H-two leave-in! I mix the DPR-11 with EVOO,heat it in the microwave, and apply it to my hair as a deep conditioner-love it! After rinsing I spray the H-two leave in first, then apply my moisturizers and seal with oil. :)

As well as this mixture. I love to make up my own concoctions anyway:lol:

Has anyone tried any of their relaxers? I'm currently using Olive Oil and I want to try Elasta's, specifically, the Bodifying relaxer.

I love the relaxer and H-two. I tired Mango butter but my hair hated it. I did like how it significantly softened up Kids natural hair and made it easy to detangle.

My favs are Oil Recovery Moisturizer & their shampoo for relaxed hair [very moisturizing & smells great]. I want to try their Mango Butter, but Sally's doesn't carry it.

My hair loves Elasta QP's Intense fortifying hair conditioner. It makes my hair so soft, I use it as a leave-in at times too. The mango butter does nothing for me, but my daughter's hair soaks it up and makes it easy to twist.

I use Breakage Control serum as needed and DPR-11 whenever I want a nice moisturizing deep condition. They are both excellent products. The only other one I have used is the mango butter, which I no longer use. I would like to try the H-two.

Mango Butter....its okay. It makes your hair very soft when airdrying. It is about as good as Qhemet Biologics Amla and Olive Cream, just cheaper. It should have more protein in it, though. It can make your hair feel crunchy or tangled if you use it with heat (wraps, straightening, rollersetting)

I'm in the minority here, my hair hardly ever likes what everyone else raves about :ohwell: I tried the Intense dc, it did nothing. No moisture, softness or slip. Then I put some Oil Moisturizer on, it gave me shine, but no softness. Mango Butter? Sucked. Even when I baggied with it, it didn't make my hair soft  It did give a nice sheen, but that's it. All in all, I wanted to love this stuff, but I'm one of the unlucky few who this line doesn't work for. Gosh, my hair is so dang difficult!

Hi ladies

I received some free Elasta QP samples just the other day. The products I received were: Shampoo for relaxed hair, Intense fortifying conditioner treatment, recovery oil moisturizer and reflect sheen spray. These products were excellent and I will def be using them again.

I actually tried more products in the line. I like it alot, now. I am crazy about the Oil Moisturizer and the shampoo for relaxed hair. The hair sheen and liquid gel is very nice, too. Still hate the setting lotion. If anyone wants to take it off my hands, you are more than welcome to.

As I posted somewhere before I am an Elasta QP nut. Their products are waht I started off with and I am planning to definately go back to using them all.

Bodifying Shampoo-was my clarifying poo
Shampoo for relaxed hair-my moisture poo just used again today for this first time in a while and wondering why I ever stopped

Both poos smell great

Breakage control serum-my protein still use on occassion
Glaze-still using on occassion works well for me
DPR 11-my deep condish still using smells and works great
H-two-my leave in conditioner
Intensive conditioner-used to be my staple poo way back in the day before I even knew anything about hair care
Relaxer-used back in the day and liked it
Design foam- used back when and liked it
Mango butter-tried it loved the smell but just not enough moisture for my hair It is going on but dries up quickly

I have the DPR-11 and its great to DC with, but it provides me no slip at all. I also have some mango butter I bought when I first joined lhcf, and its just too heavy for me.

I got a bunch of samples in the mail but haven't tried any of them yet. :look:

favourites- creme conditioning shampoo, oil recovery, silk- for rollersetting.
did nothing for my hair- dpr-11, mango butter

The leave in and glaze is ok.

The mango butter was alright , but I won't buy it again.

I wasn't too impressed with the DPR. I have used it in a combination with other conditioners and had ok results.

I didn't care for the styling foam at all.

I wanna try the feels like silk, bit am a litter scared because of my past experiences.

I really like the recovery. I mainly use it on dry hair combined with styling foam before doing braid outs :) Gotton lots and lots of compliments on them lately.

I like the poo for relaxed hair - softens like CON with no build up
I also like the Oil Recovery - keeps my hair soft and moisturized
I like the Intense cond. too

Recovery oil moisturizer is good on natural hair...The woman that does my weaves introduced me to that.

I am curious about that mango butter though.

I am a newbie and have been lurking around for a while absorbing the wealth of info that you ladies have to offer. I am now officially a PJ! lol. I just purchased the Silk and the dandruff shampoo. when using the silk for rollersets, would you recommend using it with a leave-in? cream or liquid? I was trying to stay away from actually using setting lotion and wondered if this combo would work and if anyone had any experience with it.

Thanks!

Elasta Glaze - Great for laying down edges without being greasy like other products. I like using it for flat twists.

Elasta Feels Like Silk - Light hold without the stiffness or hardness of styling gel. I use it for styles that require a smooth look like a french roll.

I use the lye regular relaxer and neutralizing shampoo and love it.

I also like the scalp stimulating shampoo, it tingles while in the hair and is not drying.

I have tried their conditioners, Intense and DPR-11, and they are okay. I don't buy them anymore because I found others I like better. I have also tried Recovery which I loved at one time but I don't use it anymore either.

I think that Elasta QP is a good line to start with because they are good products to use for a very good price.
