Elasta QP Oil Recovery Moisturizer - Used as daily moisturizer

I"m still trying to build a regimen and I'm stuck on a good daily moisturizer. I used to use Elasta QP Oil Recovery Moisturizer, but stopped because it seemed to be oil based. And I thought moisturizers should be water based...If it's oil-based, does this mean that it's just a sealant, and not really moisturizing?

Does anyone else use this as a daily moisturizer? CAN this be used as a daily moisturizer - not a sealant?

If so, I'd love it, cause it feels great on my hair!

What's the first ingredient?

The ingredients are: Chammomile Recuita (Matricaria) Extract, Urtica Dioica (Nettle) Extract, Melissa Officinalis (Balm Mint), Leaf oil Tussilago Fafars (Coltsfoot) Flower Extract, Euisetum Arvense Extract, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Extract, Rosmarinus, Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf extract, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract in Purified Water/Aqua, Mineral oil, Cetrimonium Chloride Hexadecanol, Cetereth-20, Dimethicone, Capric Caprylic Triglycerides (Conconut Oil), Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Steareth-10, Guar Hydroxypropyttrimonium Chloride, Methyl-Paraben, Propylparaben, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Fragrance.

Here's the full ist.....It has mineral oil, and a -cone, but they are pretty far down on the list..Hmmm I dunno?? :ohwell:

Well if it makes your hair feel great then go for it! Does your hair feel moisturized with this? I myself really like water based moisturizers.

If it works for your hair, use it.
I really like it. I usually prefer water based moisturizers but this is an exception for me.

Its a really good moisturizer. I alternate between protein based and water/oil based moisturizers. It has really great ingredients in it. However, Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1 is my absolute favorite moisturizer :yep:
