Motions MP...DPR left my hair soft after it dried but I lost SO much hair during the wash...the MMP gave me lots of slip and added moisture too.

Motions Moisture Plus

I tried DPR-11 this past weekend and unfortunately it seemed to do nothing for my dryness. I havent used Motions yet but after this post I may have to give it a try.

What are the ingredients in Motions Moisture Plus? Does it have any bad alcohols in them? For some reason Motions products didn't work that well for me back in the day.

No comparison.
MOTIONS wayyyyyy better than DPR 11!
I will be back with the motions ingredients.

ETA:

Water Aqua , Mineral Oil Paraffinum Liquidum , Polyquaernium-32 , Glycerin , Quaternium-80 , Dimethicone PEG-7 Isostearate , Dimethicone , Panthenol , DMDM Hydantoin , Amyl Cinnamal , Benzyl Salicylate , Butylphenyl Methyl Propional , Linalool , Fragrance Parfum

This conditioner has acted in my hair the way no other can. My hair never feels coated or sticky and the moisture lasts and lasts. This is one product where I break the no "mineral oil" rule and my hair thanks me for it!

I would have to say Motions MP too. I was so excited to try the DPR but after my hair was dry, it lost the silky feel. MMP does a real good job IMO

I thought I found my staple (DPR-11) but you all are seriously making me want to try Motions. It works well but I agree that it is not the best for comb-throughs. My hair stayed soft thought.

Crlsweetie912, love that up-do and thanks for the ingredients.

OMG: I love this stuff. But, I think that I have read that some naturals don't like it as much as the relaxed ladies do. Maybe you should do a search on it too to get the most information. You hair is beautiful and thanks for the compliment!!!:)

Wanted to add that the motions moisture plus condition I use does not have the ingredients in bold.

Sweetcashew, Is yours in the bottle or the tub? I think I remember someone saying that the bottle and the tub were different?
ETA:
I looked up the ingredients and they are fragrances. I took this ingredient list off the internet and I will have to check my tub when I get home to see if this is accurate.

This is what i want to know. As far as I remember I enjoyed the one in the tub much better but that was awhile ago. The one i recently purchase was in the bottle and it just doesn't seem to work the same but I never compared the ingredients.

Jasmin maybe it's like the difference between that keracare conditioner in the bottle and in the tub?

It's possible but the Keracare in the bottle and the tub work for me.:)

I use the one in the tub. I've tried the one in the bottle and my hair didn't seem to like it. I'm assuming that they are different somehow.
Oh by the way, the tub I have has those other ingredients listed on the original packaging. There is a new ingredients list pasted on top of the old one that excludes those 4 ingredients.

I guess I'm the only weirdo in on this one because I really like Elasta QP DPR 11. It makes my henna applications flawless and it makes my hair feel great while deep conditioning. I tried Motions Moisture Plus too. I have a really small bottle but I keep finding myself reaching for the Elasta instead of the Motions.

y'all makin' me a lil mad that i have the dpr-11, i haven't tried it yet...but i stay away from mineral oil , so i won't be trying the MMP...atleast i don't think i will :lachen:

I personally haven't tried the dpr but I plan on it.

I'm also getting the motions plus tub. The bottle didn't really work for me.

See this was my flaw. I was acting all Anti Mineral Oil and refused to try this product. But once My PJ sisters kept telling me I was missing out and I was having problems finding my "IT" conditioner, I tried it. I have been in love since. I just wont use mineral oil on my scalp.
