Thanks ladies...

I've made a lot of progress and I just hope it can continue

You have made great progress! Thanks for sharing your mix. My edges are thinning as well but i don't know if it is from PCOS, getting older or years of wrapping my hair. I am going to try a version of your mix with aloe vera added as another poster suggested. Praying continued progress for you :)

HHG OP. You live me Hope, because my hairline looked like your starting pic, and the derm told me my follicles weren't dead too, but I have to wait until I stop breastfeeding to get treatment. Meanwhile I am not consistent with my growth mix, but I will get back on track this year and add AVG to the mix as suggested.

I also have the same problem where the hair grows and keeps falling out. I think it's either friction, because I tend to hide my hairline under satin/silk headbands or scarves, or it could also be that the hair at the hairline is coarser and needs more moisture if you do find the answer, please share!!!!

I can definitely see progress. I know it seems like it's taking forever, but you are on the right track, keep up the good work!

I always hide my edges with those black stretchy bands too, because I hate when people look at my sides for to long   . What I have learned is to make sure it stays greased, oily, or basically moisture on my edges , because when its dry it tends to break and when it has moisture it just tends to slide around in stead of falling out.
