How is your hair holding up in the heat we've had for the past couple of days??

I wore a twist out yesterday (half up/half down) and didn't feel like re-twisting last night, so I'm wearing it up in a wavy/crimpy high ponytail today.

(I will re-twist tonight)

How about y'all??

I have had no unusual issues with my hair. I have been wearing it out in a style.

My hair looks like crap. I attempted a twist out which failed miserably and I had to go to work and couldn't do anything with it do it is in a ponytail right now. Do you ladies do your twistouts and braidouts on wet hair or dry hair? If its done on dry hair how do you dry your hair? Air or blowdryer?

I do my braidouts on dry hair, after I airdry my hair overnight. The waves "take" even after an hour or two in braids because of all the moisture locked into my hair (I have a hair pic of this). They are more defined after leaving it braided overnight.

Ive been wearing a shake and go.

I rinse, CW or wash daily (my hair gets wet somehow everyday) and then I let it curl up....

I have been wearing a phony pony w/my hair in a baggie, so I haven't really had to worry about the humidity. I plan on doing this all summer. Otherwise, my hair would be a hot mess! I am in Savannah GA and it is MAD humid here

It's been going great! Ever since I've tried Shea butter I haven't looked back

I do twistouts and braidouts with the shea, it provides the moisture and mega shine that I love. And no frizzies!
