Is this stuff really THAT good??!! Would this be considered a heavy duty type protein like Emergencee or Aphogee, or is it milder??

I was checking it out at the BSS in White Plains the other day and it cost $54.99 at one shop, and the shop across the street was selling it for almost $10 less!! ($45.99) Is it really worth the money?? I was tempted, cuz I'm getting low on Emergencee...

Its a concentrated protein treatment like Aphogee. I love this stuff MAN

As my stylist says it stops breakage in its tracks
smile.gif
Oh yeah, it isn't no way near as funky as Aphogee

I love it girl it saved my hair when I first dyed it. If you really want it let me know because I can get it down here for 37.99 and ship it to you. But with shipping it will be the same as the 45.99 one because tax is less where you live.

Doesn't it drain down your necks? When I used it years ago it use to drain all over me

Thanks, CBG; I guess it'd be easier just to buy it here for $45.99.

But wow!! $37.99 is a really good price for that!!

BTW, I got my pkg. yesterday!! Thanks again!!

I used this years ago when I had a bleach job done on my naturally jet black hair that I wanted to desperatly wanted to turn light brown. It really got my hair back to normal after a few uses. Presently, my hair is shedding like crazy and I went to my Dominican salon last week and the gave me "Da Bomb" and my hair is doing GREAT!!!!!!. It's basically one part Nexxus Emergencee, one part Penetrait and one part 2+1 and honey. They applied it to my hair like a relaxer and put newspaper (yes I said newspaper, don't know why) and a plastic cap on my head and I went under the dryer for 20 minutes. No more hairs in the sink or the bathroom floor. I plan on doing this once a month at least.

[/ QUOTE ] That in itself is reason enough to buy 'cause I am funked out by aphogee and I still have 1/2 a bottle.

DRC 28 is the best heavy duty protein treatment that I have ever used I feel my hair strengthen immediately.

Newspaper??!!

I wonder why they did that?? I would think that the heat would make the ink bleed all over your head, especialy with the heat of the dryer!! That's really strange!!

I bought the DRC-28 about a month ago, but have not used it yet. Shamboosie gave a strong warning about its proper use in his book. (He actually said only to allow a professional to apply this very strong conditioner.) I am glad it is getting good reviews so far. Any negative experiences with this product?

It's all that.

I finally got to try this product. Since I don't really need a strong protein conditioner right now, I only tried it on one large section of my hair. I can definitely tell the difference.
smile.gif
My local bss will have some this week and I am going to buy a bottle for a hair emergency. Knock wood...

The so call professionals I went to never applied the correct amount to my hair threw on a dab and told me to come back again in two weeks for another treatment.

and charging 10 to 15 bucks for that dab.
I have been doing my own treatment for over a year with no problems and hair is thrieving.

Yup, they skimp on it and here charge $20 extra. I personally am not a fan of the Hair rebuilder so I use Biolage Ultra hydrating afterwards.

Evane, where is your salon! that's what i'm talking about a place where they can help to remedy the situation, not escalate it.How much did they charge for the treatment. I live in Brooklyn and will travel for healthy hair.TIA

QuietStorm.. this is Pep2= to answer for Evanne (my friend

The name of the salon is called Max's Unisex Salon, 149th/150th and Broadway (told it used to be called Blusette)

I told her I was going to give that place a try myself (or either do it myself at home since I have those products anyway). I believe she told me they charge 10.00 extra for that (not bad to help the hair in my opinion).

I too travel far and wide for a good salon. I am in the BX and I go to BK
