Is there anything I can put on my hair to make it dry faster? It used to take my hair an hour to dry under a hooder dryer.( I wear it wrapped alot). Now since it's so mucher healthier and thicker, it takes two hours to dry.

Do you use a spray leave-in? If so i would change to a cream leave-in.

Also if you have a blowdryer with a cool setting you can blow the hair on cool/high.

LOL! This is a good problem to have! The longer, thicker and heathier your hair, the longer it will take to dry . . .

I now "bun dry" to free up my time -- I put towel dried hair in a bun and can either go to sleep in it or "dress it up" with hairsticks and go out. It takes 12 - 14 hours or more to dry in a bun, but at least I'm free! When I take down, my hair is smooth and moisturized with slight waves . . .

I really don't have a suggestion for speeding up drying except to use the dreaded higher heat, which is no option if you're trying to cut-back on the heat . . .

I don't know if this will work the same for wraps, but when I rollerset I spray my head(rollers and all) with oil sheen and get straight under the dryer also put large towel over hooded dryer. hope this helps.

There's a product called Dri-Fast that you might want to try. It's available at the BSS. Don't ask me what's in it, though--I've never used it. In fact, it actually sounds pretty dangerous. :ohwell:

Thanks ladies. I might just bun it because i don't feel like sitting under the dryer.
