Hey Adrian,
I totally feel u on the drying time. The only thing I can "guess" goes along with Lilydrake's response. For me it seems that the "thicker" my strands are, the longer it takes to dry. So when I'm closer to touch up time, the hair is thicker, thus needing more time to dry, as opposed to after I touch up... the hair is thinner & requires less time. It makes sense when I think about it. My rollersets take anywhere from 1.5-3 hrs to dry (on warm), depending on the size of the roller (smaller ones takes forever to dry). When I do a braid out just prior to a touchup, it takes 27 hrs to dry. I've discovered that after a touch up (like now) I'm at 17-20 hrs to air dry... yippeee! My cousin had waist length (sorta' thinish) hair (b4 she cut it ear length)...her roller sets were dry at the snap of your finger.... so it must have something to do with the "density" of the hair, maybe
Peachtree is soo right. When I was relaxed and did a rollerset it took much less time. When I do it now on my natural hair, it takes hours and hours!!!
