Does anyone have any tips for moisturizing braidouts. My hair feels very dry about a couple hours after unbraiding. If I add something water based I feel it will cause the curl to loosen. By the second day it is very dry to the touch. I have tried using a water based moisturizer and NTM while wet as well as damp. I have sealed with oil. Nothing has worked so far

TIA

i usually mix jojoba oil, serum and moisturizer and rub thu everyday.

I use Cantu and a little almond oil..Works everytime.

I used ors carrot oil and evoo mixed together. This is my first braidout and my hair is still shiny.

with my hair i just use a lotion type moisturizer like hawaiian silky 14-n-1 and seal with castor oil. i have really dry hair and i just did an acv rinse and that helped and just keeping it moisturized and REALLY oily.

I braid my hair while it's still damp from pooing and conditioning. I use the cholesterol shea butter plus as a leave-in. I have the dryest hair and I don't have to re-moisturize for 2 days. Plz try it, I'm sure you'll like.:lick:
