Dream interpretation

I hope this is the right forum to post this.

I had an unusual dream last night - unusual because I've never had any dream like this.

I was back in Ethiopia, parked by a roadside near my house when a priest and another gentleman ask me to drop them off at their church. I was in a hurry, but I said ok. Then I picked up my mom and we had to make a quick stop somewhere close to our house. After we made that stop, we went back to the car where the priests were. After that it's a bit blurry, and my dream then continues seemingly a few days later.

My mom and I go back to the place where we had made that stop, but this time there is a church standing there. We walk in, and for some reason it seems like I'm wearing our traditional wear but my shoes are too tight. I feel like it's actually the New Year mass, but we were the first ones there. I sing, worship, etc, for the entire mass, and we were the last ones to leave. When I exit the church, I ask my mom to make a quick stop home to change my tight shoes before she drops me off at the airport to return to the US. She said ok, and that's when I woke up.

Can anyone help me interpret it? For the record, even though I'm baptised Christian, I haven't practiced in a long time, which is why I'm surprised by this dream.

I think you already interpreted it when you said you haven't practiced Christianity in a long time.

I believe your dream is telling you that you are always busy and don't make time for church or relationship with God. You are always on the go and even though you may plan to go to church, something else takes precedence. I believe you are a worshiper and feel free in His presence and its a place where you belong. I believe that when your shoes were too tight that your dream was telling you that God wants to take you out of your comfort zone. It could be as a missionary in your hometown of Ethiopia. The US is your comfort zone & there's someone or even a nation that He wants you to minister to.

I'm praying for you! We made a huge move to minister to others and its hard at times but its so JOYOUS to know you are doing the Lord's work!

Generally speaking, your feet represent being grounded. My guess is that the tight shoes may represent something that is interfering with your being grounded. Are you feeling conflicted about something on a spiritual level?

Have you remained orthodox or changed to pentecostal at some point? Maybe G-d is calling you to go back to the "tight-fit" of orthodoxy and worship, even though it might be painful? Wearing the traditional clothing with deep meaning of it...I think it could mean that...but I'm not sure.
