DR28 - Anyone know what this is?

My hair has really been shedding. I noticed when I go the salon and talk my stylist about it, she give me a treatment. I asked her what it was but she would only say "it's a protein treatment" and she added Keracare moisturizer. My hair doesn't shred at all during the following week. I noticed the bottle has DR28 on it.

I can't afford to go to the salon every week and I hate the shedding during the week that I don't go. If I could find out what she uses maybe I can save more of my hair.

I had a friend who was a stylist and she said "We don't want you to know what we are using. We even put stuff in unmarked bottles so you won't know. If you know, you won't need us". I think that's totally untrue. If someone enjoys getting their hair done, they will still get their hair done. It would encourage me to know that my stylist cares about the overall health of my hair even on the week when she is not doing it.

That product is made by Dudley's there are a lot of people on this board that use it, you may want to do a search.

I think she kind of has a point...cause then we could just buy all of the professional products and then do our hair and our friend girls hair and the baby mama's hair and the second cousins hair for free or for like $10 with their professional products.

At least she's honest. /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif I also agree that a lot of people would rather just sit back and let someone do their hair sometimes so unless the stylist expects clients to come to the salon for everything, they don't have anything to worry about.

The product is by Dudley's. /images/graemlins/smile.gif Mine cost $54.99. But I think it's cheaper in the big cities.

oglorious, I tried a search but I didn't search the forum. Thanks a lot.

Shellzfoshizzle, I personelly enjoy going to the salon and being pampered. Even if I know every product she puts on my head, I'll still go. I understand that some other people may not, but don't you think you have the right to know what someone are using on your hair? After all, it is YOUR hair. And what about caring for the overall health of your client hair. Is it a stylist attitude like, "I don't care if every hair on your hear falls out if I'm not doing your hair."

Then too, I understand how it is probably very hard to be a stylist and depend solely on that for your livihood. You may want to protect your secrets.

Your're welcome. /images/graemlins/wave.gif Someone posted a link to an online store that sells it cheaper. I can't find it right now.

I don't know why that tickles me so much! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Here's the thread. The info is at the end. I need to save that page. The store in my town that sold it went out of business.

I canNOT believe that I could have paid $29 for this stuff instead of the $59 I paid for it /images/graemlins/mad.gif I guess that'll teach me to search the archives here first before I go out to buy a product that cost that much /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I think is the best protein treatment I have every used I cant live without it.
I use it every six weeks followed by a moisturizing conditioner.
