I've never tried it for the simple fact that every time I look at a box, it's greasy from the product within.

I'd rather relax my hair with battery acid. It'd probably have the same effect as relaxing with Dr. ****racle.

Seriously, the relaxer gave me breakage problems for 2 months. And it wasn't because of anything I did. And I believe I read from someone else on this forum that their other products smell like strong medicine, and I have to concur.

Plus, I don't like that cheap cardboard packaging and the fact that their ads are so demoralizing and unprofessional.

Girl, run! :lachen:

I haven't heard anything good about Dr. Miracle hair products, It has been getting alot of flack about the terrible ads.

I am sorry this wasn't the answer you was looking for, But I am sure someone has tried his products, I know somewhere I read that someone used the scalp oil and they said they liked it.

But Good Luck To You!

I retouched my hair with Dr Miracle's perm and it burned my scalp like no tomorrow. I shedded like crazy and had several sores. I didn't even scratch my scalp or manipulate it before I permed it. This was 2 months ago and my hair is just getting back healthy with constant conditioning. You couldn't pay me to ever use this perm again.

I tried Dr. Miracles relaxer and I actually love it but the way they market the products and the bad things that the ladies have said about it. I went back home ORS Olive Oil relaxer. I tried it twice..:)

I used temple and nape for my sides and it seemed to work but some people said that it was probably just from me massaging my temples instead of the product itself...I don't know.

i use the temple and nape for my sides also-i alternate between this and WGO-and i've seen very good results.

I used the relaxer and actually liked it. It didn't dry my hair out like Phyto, but I didn't like the advertising so I stopped using it.

The other products were too greasy for me and they smelled like Ben Gay(sp).

I personally don't think the products are good.

Ok, I used the Dr. miracles hair grease when my hair was natural, and it burned the back left and right side of my hair so badly that it left me completely bald in those areas!! I was so pissed.:whip: I contributed my hair loss to the so-called, "thermalceutical complex," that it has in it. After examining the ingredients, I didn't see anything else that I thought, could cause my hair to fall out. My hair grew back really fast after using ORS olive oil and WGO though.

I asked because I use the shampoo and several of the other products and I actually like them. I saw some of the ads but most ads don't make me try or not try something. But so far its' good.

Who makes this... stuff? What do you know about the creators of this product. I heard it was a white guy married to a black woman....bonjour

I don't know. I hadn't actually heard anything negative about the product until I asked the board. But I quite frankly am not worried about who the maker is married to, just what the product does, is doing, or hasn't done to my hair. Everything works different for everybody.. And I decided to try this.

I used to use the relaxer on my daughter and it worked pretty well but I didn't care for the "marketing" so I switched her to the Silk Elements which is a better relaxer, in my opinion, and it cost almost half of the Dr. Miracles.

I've also tried all of his other products with the exception of the conditioner that comes in a jar...I wasn't impressed. I bought the stuff over a year ago and the only thing I managed to use up were the tingling shampoo...:ohwell:

But, you know, it's different for everybody. This is just based on my experience.

From experience, Dr. Miracles products have inferior ingredients (mineral oil, petroleum, etc) The only product I did like from them was a tingling shampoo and braid spray. These were okay, I don't think I would purchase them again though. The hairline oil is garbage full of mineral oil.

I used the relaxer and it made my hair smooth and soft. I really liked it, but since hearing all the bad stuff about this product i'm not going to use it again. Any recommedation for what i could next time i relax.

I'm a 4a-b and my hair is very dry.

that relaxer sounds horrible.

i've been using the temple and nape balm and that's helping (along with the wgo & coconut oil)

i've never seen their ads though... what do they say or look like?

Silk Elements Lye relaxer is what I use. There are lots of members that have converted to using this relaxer. I have also heard good things about the Organic Root Stimulator No Lye relaxer.

Ok, I'll try silk elements. If i use mild (because i burn easily), Do think it's going to leave underprocessed?

I don't use the relaxer. I only have the line for maintenance. But whatever rocks your boat. And Butterfly30 if something works good on your hair, you don't change it because it didn't do as good on someone else's. It's all about finding what works for you hair.

i like dr. miracles products...almost a month ago i went entirely natural and ive just started using them since this past sunday, with no problems... i like the tingling...smells like cloves, cinnamon, even a bit like sweet potato pie to me...lol... and i'm not a big fan of mineral oil or petroleum..actually i try to stay away...but honestly, i haven't had a problem thus far...

but if my hair start coming out in clumps, lol i'll let yall know!...;)

btw: i used anti-breakage strengthening creme, intensive healing oil, and intensive serum...i swear i went loco and bought them all last weekend and them b*tches weren't cheap! hahaha!

I used the Temple & Nape Balm last winter to keep my edges moisturized (from the use of hats, etc.), and it did a good job at moisturizing without making my hair too greasy. However, there are similar products that work no better or worse. *shrug*
