I've heard that you are not supposed to trim/cut hair before relaxing it. Is this true? If so, how long do I have to wait to relax my hair after a trim? TIA ladies!

Never heard that. What does your ends have to do with the roots of ya hair?

A good reason to not trim prior to a relaxer is because your hair may appear uneven because of the NG. You will have a more accurate trim after your hair is straightened, and at its full length.

I agree...I would wait, unless you're planning a LOOOONG stretch and you wear your hair down a lot and don't want the raggedy ends showing.
