I'm just happy no one said pink oil moisturizer lol mm mm good!!

I'm a pj so I don't use anything that I used to use sad I know! I'm inti the sulfate free keracare line now

Too funny!! Cherry Pie you're a mess girl!
But on a serious note i'm a braider (when i feel like it) and i have to schedule people around my nails (unless i'm broke...then they don't matter) because
1) Most people here (where i live) still use Let's Jam for their braids.
2) Do ya'll know that stuff takes my nail polish off EVERYTIME!
3) It has sodium hydroxide("lye" someone correct if i'm wrong) in it(it's low on the list but....). Conditioners work just as well (i think better if you use a scarf for about 20-30 minutes). I refuse to ever use this in my hair again.

theres such thing as natural grease??!!!!??!!?!?!! :bouncegre

**off to research!!!!

Right now I'm trying out Hairveda's Almond Glaze and I plan to try Boundless Tresses Hair Balm. Here's a link to an old thread:

http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=46714

Honestly, I see absolutely nothing wrong with using a petroleum-based product to seal and style. This thread is making me want to go buy a bottle of Sulpher 8 :giggle:.

A fine tooth Comb...... :giggle:

Yay!!!! I'm not the only one still using a fine tooth comb. I haven't figured out a way to rollerset without it.

What! I use that on my girls' edges almost DAILY. It gives them the softest silkiest waves...the smell also just takes me back to childhood. I'm not a fan of Blue Magic, but give me some DAX any day of the week! LOL...

That's my ish. I started a whole thread about Dax Kocatah. There's actually no "bad" ingredients in the kocatah, just the smell :nono:. I still use it anyway, along with Dax Coconut oil grease - it has one of the bad ingredient, either mineral oil or petroleum, but it works great for my braidouts. I use the Dax Vegatable Oil shampoo to wash it out, if necessary.

My mom's best friend has always used a mix of Sulpher 8 and Dax and her hair has been between MBL and WL forever (she cuts it back to MBL).

Oh dang, yup it does. Check out these ingredients for the Let's Jam (regular hold). Basically a LHCF's what-no-to-use list (is it bad that I am still not tempted to give this up :nono:):

3. Heat
4. Sulfate Shampoos
5. A Comb

You can beat me later!

There are people that don't use brushes?:lachen:

Could never be me.
ummm...YEAH. There are people :mob: around here who think combs and brushes are the debil. :heated:

But me and mine .....are thick as thieves. I am not giving up my boar bristle brush.

Products with mineral oil.

I don't use it, but. . .um. . .there is a possibility that I may have brown gel in my possession. Allegedly. Don't judge.

Dax!!!!! I know. but there is still some left in the house when my brother was trying to get waves... It hold my edges and nape down like WHAT!!!!!
Shhhhhh Dont tell Nobody (pop's Voice)

bahahahah :lachen: :lachen: im sorry but this right here takes home the trophy! :lachen: my mom used to use dax when i was in grade school and at the time, Dax was for the "big girls" so you can imagine what I was using if Dax was too high end.

I have a bottle of pink lotion under my bathroom sink. I have trouble throwing things away. I actually used it maybe twice this year because I was too broke to re-up on good products. It made my twists look nice and shiny though. I might use it again.

I use a brush. And it's not soft either. I use a hard one. It lays my edges down and it feels good.

There's mineral oil in most of the products I use.

grease. I think I might buy some Blue Magic Coconut sometime this week, even though the only ingredients are "Petrolatum, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Fragrance"

:sekret:You and me both! I saw some at the store and it was a good price too!! I'll add it to my softee collection:rolleyes:..and I want some of that TCB Naturals olive oil grease too...tried it in bootcamp:210: and it smelled good! :lick:
